November 2024 – Festive Fair at the Farm Animal Sanctuary and Link to Hope Shoe Box collection.

The Farm Animal Sanctuary

The annual festive fair is being held on Saturday 23 November from 4:00pm – 7:00pm.  There will be lots of stalls selling gifts as well as hot food and drinks (all animal ingredient free), as well as a chance to meet some of the rescued farm animals and chance to learn a bit about their stories. 

I will have a stall there again trying to raise extra funds for the sanctuary so please come along and support the event.

Link to Hope

By now all your shoeboxes should be packed and with your area receiver and may well have already been picked up by Link to Hope and taken to Worthing or one of the Hubs for final processing and loading onto the articulated lorries before being transported to Ukraine, Moldova, Bulgaria or Romania.

Hopefully you’ve found some of the suggestions for contents or where to get some good deals helpful.  I will hopefully load some images from some of my completed shoeboxes in the next couple of months.  Although I do the £10.00 challenge to show it is possible to fill a shoe box for £10.00, I usually add a lot of extra gifts. 

Bargain Buys

No bargain buys this month, but I will add some if I see any for those who like me are already starting to think about next years shoe boxes.
