As prices have continued to shoot up since I did my last £10.00 Challenge in 2022 – I thought I’d set myself the challenge again this year to see if it’s still possible.

Family Box

The First Family box is using bargains that I’ve picked up during the year.  I start out with the minimum requirements based on the Link to Hope leaflet and show the total for the minimum requirements.

The next set of pictures show the box with some additional suggestions to use the full £10.00.

The Second Family Box uses items available in September/October 2023 – but obviously prices are changing all the time, but hopefully you’ll be able to find them.  Again, I show the cost to fulfil the minimum requirements, but ideally you would add more if you can.   There are two different soft toys – the bear was purchased from Ebay and only cost £1.00 including postage!, the dog was only 50p from a charity shop but I’ve assumed a similar one would cost £1.00.

The second set of pictures show the additional items you can add and still stay within the £10.00 challenge.

Elderly Box

The same principals have been used for the Elderly box.  The First Elderly box is using bargains that I’ve picked up during the year.  I start out with the minimum requirements based on the Link to Hope leaflet and show the total for the minimum requirements.

The next set of pictures show the box with some additional suggestions to use the full £10.00.

The second set of pictures show options you can add to use the £10.00.

I would probably add a different brooch or a necklace to the one included above which would take the total closer to £10.00. Temu have various brooches, bracelets of necklaces ranging from 27p – 38p
